Broccoli Rice Cheese Casserole Recipe

Original Family Recipe
Broccoli Rice Cheese Casserole by Karla Rae Hodge Baggett
- 1/3 cup white onion chopped
- 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup of Land O’Lakes Butter
- 1 cup to Minute White Rice uncooked
- 1 can – 10.75 oz of Campbell’s Cream of Chicken Soup
- 1/2 cup of Deans Milk 1 %
- 1/2 cup of Water
- 1 8 oz jar of Kraft Cheese Whiz
- 1 package of frozen Birds Eye chopped Broccoli ( allow to partially thaw )
Directions
Let the package of frozen broccoli partially thaw. Preheat over to 350 degrees. In a fry pan, saute onion in the butter. In larger bowl combine the following, butter and onion, broccoli, rice, milk, soup, cheese and water. Stir all together. Bake in a casserole dish which has been coated with Pam. Bake at 350 degrees uncovered for 30 to 40 minutes
