Karla’s Chocolate Sheet Cake
Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter
- 4 talb cocoa
- 1 cup water
Bring the above ingredients to boil and pour over the following ingredients:
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
Mix together then add the following ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup butter milk
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
For the frosting on top, pour it over the cake immediately after taking it out of the oven.
- 1 stick butter
- 4 talb cocoa
- 6 talb butter milk
- 1 lb power sugar ONCE THE THREE INGREDIENTS ARE MELTED YOU WILL POUR THE POWER SUGAR AND MIX TOGETHER AND GET IT READ FOR THE FINISHED CAKE
Place all three ingredients in a saucepan and melt them together. Do this as your cake is nearly finished baking, since you’ll want to pour the mixture over the cake as soon as it comes out of the oven.
