Mom’s Banana Bread
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 stick butter softened but not completely melted
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 3-4 banana's
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts
Instructions
- First step and most important is to turn on the oven to get it up to temperature so once everything is ready to put in the oven. It will be up to the temperature you need 350 degrees
- Peal the bananas and mash them together, either mix by hand or mixer
- Now it's time to mix all the ingredients together including the mashed bananas with your mixer
- Pour the batter into a large loaf pan or small pans.
- Once in the oven back at 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes. Check with a toothpick or thin knife to make sure it's done before removing it from the oven.
- Once you have it out of the over it should come out fairley easily, it usually means it baked evenly, rose well and released from the pan without sticking. Put on a cooling rack to cool
